Magnimus

Magnimus is the ruler of the Quortoth Dimension. She is a god who was once part of the Triumvirate of Torment with her younger sisters, Grandae and Glorificus. Where Glorificus was bloodthirsty, Magnimus was conniving. She convinced Grandae to rebel against Glorificus and exile her to Earth. With Glorificus removed, Magnimus murdered Grandae and claimed Quortoth as her domain.

Magnimus ruled Quortoth unchallenged for nearly ten thousand years until the arrival of Connor. When he gained his reputation as the Destroyer, Magnimus was no longer feared. Instead, all fear was focused on the Destroyer. When Connor left Quortoth, Magnimus found herself unable to control her subjects. She decided, since Connor was the only one they feared, she would take him as consort so she could once again rule without question.

Magnimus came to Earth. Discovering Connor was the lover of Illyria's High Priestess, she took the identity of Regina King to befriend Salome and sabotage her relationship with Connor. When she was unable to do this, Magnimus tried to beat Salome to death, but was teleported using a spell.

Magnimus is not an Old One, having originated in Quortoth and not Earth. She does, however, claim to be one of the gods that killed Illyria during the dark days.

Doc

A demon of unknown origins, Doc lived in Sunnydale for many years. He was good at resurrection spells and aided Dawn Summers in her attempt to raise her mother from the dead. He seemed to be a nice, slightly dotty, old man.

It was later revealed, when Spike and Xander Harris visited him, that Doc was in fact a worshipper of Glorificus. When Dawn was taken by Glory to be used in the ceremony to open the gates between dimensions, Doc was the one who bled Dawn while Glory was fighting Buffy.

Doc was pushed off the tower Dawn was on by Buffy, but he did not die. He escaped during the chaos to bide his time. He did not just worship Glory, but the whole Triumvirate. When he learned Magnimus had come to this dimension, he went to her to supplicate himself to a new master.

Doc is Magnimus' second-in-command and speaks on her behalf at times, including once to speak to Connor.
