protrusions on his face.
Chico has known Salome since 1995, when she moved to Los Angeles
under the identity of Sally Beckett. He dated Salome for "about
a day in 1997". He is a self-described "Renissance Man",
dealing in many different avenues to make a living. In 1999 this
included dealing in the highly dangerous substance Orpheus. He has since kicked this facet of his business.
Chico moved to Palo Alto
when he felt the mystical energy gathering. He has been used as
a contact by Salome, Andrew and Oni. He has the ability to gather
information that others can't. Since Salome quit working at Caritas
II, Chico has taken over as bartender. His true motivations are
unknown, though he has revealed he finds Oni attractive and he's

Crawford Lee
A very talented actor, Crawford was preparing to perform the title role in Hamlet when he was involved in some sort of mystical occurance. Crawford's body was invaded by some sort of demonic force, which mutated him. The right side of Crawford's face has become demonic. He is changed internally as well, capable of feeling supernatural power, which he sensed in both Mandy and Connor. He also seems to be impurvious to harm, as his attempts to suicide healed instantly.
Shunned by his family, Crawford chose to don a mask and hide in the theatre he had been changed in. Over nearly five years, he avoided human contact. The only person he spoke to was the warlock Gerard DeGuise, an evil man who sacrificed young actress for eternal life and talent. Crawford felt powerless to stop him.
Crawford became enamoured with Oni watching her rehearse in the theatre. When she became Gerard's latest target, he finally chose to fight. After helping Connor and Mandy apprehend Gerard, Oni told Crawford he didn't need to hide and that they accepted him despite his appearance.
Oni and Crawford have dated for several months and developed a deep bond. Crawford became good friends with Oni's group. He knew Matty Moon prior to his involvement with Andrew.

Lorne / Krevlornswath of the Deathwok Clan
A Pylean demon, Lorne hated the world he was from. It had no music, and Lorne believed he was going crazy because he could hear it in his head. When a portal opened up, he didn't think twice about jumping through it. He erected a club in the spot he landed: Caritas. Caritas was a haven for both demons and humans, with no violence allowed. Lorne was able to read people's destinies when they sang. He gave advice after his patrons would sing Karaoke.
Lorne became a guide and ally of Angel's. When Caritas was thrice destroyed, Lorne moved in with Angel and became a full member of his team. When they moved to Wolfram and Hart, he headed up the Entertainment Division.
After the battle with the Circle of the Black Thorn, Lorne killed Lindsey MacDonald on Angel's order. He then abandoned the team, unable to put up with the life any longer. He moved to Palo Alto to attempt to open a club once again.
Despite his protests, Lorne still believes in the mission. He now offers help to Connor and his friends, much in the way he first aided Angel.
Lorne is very fond of Salome, who has worked for him on and off as a bartender since Caritas II opened. Because of his friendship with Salome, Lorne's relationship with Connor had greatly improved. Caritas II suffers a bit due to Lorne's involvement with the Destroyer and his friends. Many of the demons in Palo Alto want to stay away from anyone who would aid the Destroyer. However, Lorne is still steadfast in his loyalty to them.

Magdalen
A former succubus, Magdalen was a prostitute for over a thousand years. She and her sister Dahlia then settled in Palo Alto, opening a cat house, which until 2005 used the cover of Lamia House, a demon sorority on campus. Magdalen eventually grew tired of that life and ran off with a man she met. She stopped using her powers and began to age. When Dahlia told her husband about Magdalen's origins, he left her. Magdalen returned to to Lamia House as a caretaker to the girls Dahlia brought in. Magdalen hated what her sister had become, a controlling slaver who forced girls into prostition.
When Dahlia was defeated, Magdalen offered Connor and his friends Lamia House to rent. She is now their landlady and housekeeper.
Magdalen is deeply intuitive, often observing the goings on of the group quietly. Her advice is often very astute and, like Lorne, advises her young friends on their relationships.

Mistress Meerna Slaid
Meerna is Salome's aunt, the sister of Moriah Slaid Carr.
Meerna turned her back on the Nyazian clan and moved to Los Angeles. She gained a reputation as a dimensional magic expert. She was able to avoid being slaughtered by Cyvus Vail due to her abilities to hide and her steadfast refusal to do large magicks. She was described as one of the most powerful Nyazians, but she refuses to meddle in matters of the mind and reality, instead focusing on her dimensional skills.
After the Nyazian Massacre, Meerna took her niece in and cared for her. Meerna let Salome generally pursue her own path. It was only after Salome fell so deep into guilt-- indulging in alcohol and the dangerous drug Orpheus-- that she finally stepped in. Meerna saved Salome from an attack by Azriel Vail and lectured her on her importance in the coming days. What Salome didn't know at the time was that the Council of Nyazian Elders had already told Meerna that Salome would be instrumental in the destruction of the Nyazian Betrayers.
When Connor broke through the dimension walls to escape Quortoth, Meerna was hired by Lorne to close the rift between the dimensions.
Meerna is shrouded in mystery. Unlike the other Nyazians, she has never been seen in her full demonic form. She was also left alone by Cyvus Vail despite being outside of the Nyazian camp. She also believes that personal choices affect destiny, but that the Prophecies are of great importance.
